Who it is for

• Newer cars, or paint already in good shape. You want it to stay that way with less effort. The Gloss Enhancement is usually the right fit.
• Paint with swirls and light scratches. Years of washing leave swirls, holograms and fine scratches that dull the finish. A Single Stage or 2 Step correction takes them out before the coating goes on.
• The car you care about most. The Wet Sand Detail removes 95% plus of defects and comes with Ballistic, our 3 year plus coating.
• Anyone fed up of washing. A coated car is easier to keep clean, and Euphoric V2 is built so rain beads and sheets straight off.

Ceramic coating prices in Falkirk

Every polishing package includes a ceramic coating. The Gloss Enhancement is one price for any car. The correction packages are priced by the size of the car: small, medium, large and XL.

By size: Single Stage £695 small, £715 medium, £725 large, £740 XL. 2 Step £995, £1015, £1025 and £1040 XL. Wet Sand Detail £2500, £2600, £2700 and £2800 XL.

The Wet Sand Detail already includes Ballistic, so the 5 year upgrade is the one that applies there.

The coatings we use

We only use the Absolute range, and the durations below are deliberately on the safe side, not the lab numbers.

• Slick, 1 year plus. Our entry coating, included with the Gloss Enhancement, Single Stage and 2 Step. Looked after properly it goes well past a year. Also good on wheels, it takes the heat.
• Ballistic Lite, 2 years plus. The step up from Slick. Slicker to the touch, sharper water behaviour and double the life.
• Ballistic, 3 years plus. Included with the Wet Sand Detail. Three years as a minimum, five is realistic with a monthly safe wash.
• Euphoric V2, 3 years. Built for water behaviour. Rain beads and sheets straight off, so the car stays cleaner between washes.
• Suave, 5 years. Our top paint coating, for paint you want to keep perfect.
• Glass Act. A nano glass coating for the windscreen and side glass.

What happens on the day

1. Safe wash. An alkaline pre-wash to break down road film, then snow foam, then a pH-neutral hand wash. Nothing is scrubbed while the grit is still on the car.
2. Decontamination. Tar and iron fallout removed, then the paint is clay barred to leave a smooth, clean surface.
3. Paint checked. On the correction packages the paint depth is gauged and a test spot is done, so the right pads and compounds are used.
4. Machine polish. A single gloss polish on the Gloss Enhancement, or the full correction on the bigger packages.
5. Coating applied. The coating goes on the paintwork. On the Gloss Enhancement the door shuts are coated, trims dressed and wheels cleaned and dressed.
6. Full inspection. Everything is checked over before handover.

Rinse Revive is based at 103 Broad St, Denny FK6 6DX, and the mobile setup covers roughly 30 miles around Falkirk. For the multi-day packages it is drop off at 9am and collect at 5pm: the next day for a Single Stage, two days later for a 2 Step and five days later for a Wet Sand Detail. We will confirm the arrangements for your car when we quote.

Aftercare

A coating needs washing like any other paint, just less effort. Keep it unclogged with a maintenance wash at least once a month, which is £50. The Single Stage, 2 Step and Wet Sand Detail all include one safe wash, redeemed 7 days after collection.

Avoid anything that scrubs grit across the paint, because that is what causes the swirl marks you see under petrol station lights. If you would rather hand it over, Monthly Detailing is £80 a month for cars we have already worked on, and tops up all previous protection and coatings on every visit.
